Mother is great
One of the most important people in
everyone’s life is mother. Mothers are the ones who changed our diapers, stayed
up late for us and sacrificed everything they had just for us. They often take
the fallout for the toddler tantrums and the teenage angst. Despite that, they
love their children no matter what they do.
We sometimes extol our mother’s
sacrifices from when we were infants, yet, we cannot describe her ‘real’
sacrifices and hardships unless we experience them. They care for us as if we
are gold treasures and are eager to protect us from harmful humans and
incidents. And even if she feels weak, she still manages to gather all her
strength and does a lot of work for children. Mothers are nurses, doctors,
counselors, chefs, teachers, accountants and sometimes managers are rolled
into one. Mothers are the emotional backbones of the family. They provide the place
for everyone’s feelings and do their best to keep us from being hurt.
Her boundaries made you a better
person. You may not have liked some of her decisions, especially when you
wanted to party with your friends, but she did keep you out of trouble. Look at
some of your friends without a mom who has cared that much. A mother’s ears and
eyes hear and see everything. They also have a computer-like memory for all the
good that came your way. It’s nice to have someone with whom you can reminisce
about your whole life. We cannot count every deed our mothers have done to let
us live better.
If it weren’t for your mom, you
wouldn’t be breathing right now. If nothing else, you should thank her for
that. It is the mother who is always ready to take the hurdles in her way so
that her child can go trough a smooth path. She is one who sacrifices her sleep
so that her child can have a restful sound sleep.
This Mother’s Day made it special for
her, and you would have seen her smile. There is something beyond words to
express to the person who helped you to walk and talk, who helps you with
school, and who gives you all the love she possibly could. Show her you care by
acknowledging her value in your life. And if you don’t have your mom around,
take someone who is like a mother to you out for a lunch.
