Introduction - It goes without saying to you that India is a land of great heroes and saints. Mahatma Gandhi was one of them. Dear friends, Mahatmatma Gandhi’s full name was Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was born on 2nd October 1869 at Porbandar in  Gujrat. He went to school at the age of seven years.

Navratri or Navdurga
Navratri is a festival dedicated to the worship of the Hindu deity Durga. The word Navaratri means 'nine nights' in Sanskrit, nava meaning nine and ratri meaning nights. During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of Shakti/Devi are worshiped. The tenth day is commonly referred to as Vijayadashami or "Dussehra". Navratri is an important major festival and is celebrated all over India. Diwali the festival of lights is celebrated twenty days after Dussehra.

Life is a mixture of joys and tears. There are more sorrows than pleasures in human life. However, I didn’t use to believe over this fact. The 25th December 1990 was the saddest day of my life. A number of sad events took place on that day. It was the blackest and most sorrowful day of my life.
