A friend in need is a friend indeed

    Ashok and Raj were two friends. Once they were going through a forest. They saw a bear coming towards them. They were in great danger. Raj at once climbed up a tree without caring for his friend. Ashok was very fat. He couldn’t climb up the tree. He laid down on the ground. He held his breath. The bear came to Ashok. He smelt him. He considered him dead. So he left him and went away.

Raj came down from the tree. He said to Ashok, “What did the bear whisper in your ear?”Ashok replied, “The bear advised me not to trust a selfish friend. “Raj felt ashamed. Truly a friend in need is a friend indeed.
