Clean India
mission was inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narenra Modi on 2nd October 2014 in New Delhi's Rajghat .
The Prime minister himself cleaned a road in New Delhi. This is India’s biggest
mission, and with the Prime Minister, to make a clean India is the
determination of every Indian citizen. It has rightly been said “Cleanliness is
next to godliness.” We all must feel that the god created this world so
beautiful. The god created beautiful lakes, paddocks. There are enchanting fountains, mountains, and places etc., but
what we are doing, that we are spoiling and destroying the beauty of the
nature by throwing the garbage here and there blindly. For our selfishness, man
is chopping the trees and destroying the forests, polluting the rivers, and
spreading the voice and air pollution. As
a result of this we are becoming ill, malnourished, unfit, and restless. Like
this, in the form of medicines and treatment and other we are losing our time, life
and money. So we must pay attention towards cleanliness.
Many people
consider cleanliness as a very flimsy work, but it is not flimsy but it is a very
great work. Now this work is not the work of any particular group, or
department, or community, or any organization. But according to the prime
minister this work is all of us. We have to do this work. The need is that each
citizen must aware and understand his duty towards cleanliness.
Targeting to the cleanliness mission, Indian government
has launched many websites. Its publicity is going on social media websites. In
this mission at the first step we have to capture the photo of the dirty place,
then the photo that we did its cleaning work, and at the third step we have to
capture the photo of that cleaned place, and upload the photos into the related
website. Supporting to this mission country’s many celebrities, actors, sportsmen,
school and college students, many government and social organizations have come
on the road for cleaning purpose. They are cleaning the dirty places, planting the trees, and by various cleaning programmes
they are awakening the citizens by conveying
the message of ‘Clean and Green”. There
must be availability and proper arrangement of the dust bin in all the public places.
Each one has to throw the dust into the dust bin instead of throwing here and
there or on the road. No one has to spit here and there. Each one must grow at
least a tree in a year.
In the words of Mr. Narendra Modi “If Indians can reach to the mars in very low cost, so can’t
they clean their streets and wards!” Our body should be clean, there should be no
dirt of bad and narrow thoughts in our mind. There should be no place for the
dirt of corruption, poverty, unemployment, and dearness etc in our country. Our country’s each
village, city and town must be neat, clean and green, So that we may build a clean India, and may
our country stand equally in the queue of the other developed countries.
